Is the map already 7x7 or still 5x5?

Would it be hard to expand the world map to full 7x7?

I'm so afraid to do that...If I lived alone I would upload the place where I'm at but I live with 4-5 players that are new to the game and they WILL die if we are raided...
I dont want to speed that up :lol:
The map doesnt show where we live.
When we die I'll upload my part.
If I could I would heal and help people, but in this realm I can't...Wait...elixirs? *Dons Plague Doctor mask*

Adventorous Raiders prefer white spots ... so i'm looking forward to see your maps uploaded very soon :P

Serious - getting shown on map or not doesn't matter at all...but be being too egoistic to share might...

oh really? egoistic? this is a volunteer project by the community, dont make it sound like every player is due; its uncool.
ive uploaded my parts more than enough but id understand why some dont want to. it DOES matter if you didnt realize and that is why people are asking for the outergrids maps, for diffferent reasons, is it not? or if you think it doesnt matter at all, why do you want them uploaded? 8-)
alg is waiting for those who recently moved to outergrids to build their defense, to be fair, to give them chances to survive. just be patient and give them time. (or upload them yourselves.)

@Dante,
dont wait till you die but build up your defense asap (because "they" will come sooner or later), and then upload the maps when you feel safe enough, you dont have to feel pressured but better hurry. even if you dont upload the tiles around you, someone will eventually, so you should stop feeling safe for not uploading them. posts like yours do motivate some people, so if you dont want to cooperate, it would be smarter to just be silent and dont mention it like that.

Yeah it's uncool to share, feel obligations and demand them - that's why our RL World is such a cool place ;)

I doubt that's the (main) reason, but:

at least, that was the original intention according to what i heard directly from alg when i asked him a while ago.
many players have quit, but quite a few are moving to outer grids to avoid established areas and abandoned claims and ruins, while looking for resources. i just dont see a reason why you guys have to rush and make unwilling folks feel obliged to upload maps so that "you" can see the outer grids. to be satisfied with the successful community project? it seems pretty low to me if you have to make others feel guilty for it.
