This is due to server side coordinates randomization. Try to disable borderless camera. Then it won't fly too away.

cheef wrote:Hi all,
today I've created script for automatic installation of Ender's client for Debian-based OS like Ubuntu.

It can be run via 'babushka', just run in console:
Code: Select all
bash -c "`wget -O - babushka.me/up`"
babushka babushka
babushka 'cheef:hh_enders_client'

Previously it installs babushka (automation tool) and then installs Ender's client with required environment:

* installs sun-java packages
* installs ant that required for client building
* installs jogl packages (required by client)
* get latest source code from Ender's repository
* build client
* creates sh execution script

P.S. Don't worry, script will ask you about place to be installed and will install environment packages only if they are missed.
Hope it would be helpful!

Hey thanks for this!
As a very noob linux user this helped greatly!
I just started using Ubuntu so I haven't quite figured everything out yet... especially with terminal commands.
I just have one question... Being the noob I am... Whats the execution command to run the client? :D

I'm sure it's been asked already but can you add a radius to foragables? Preferably a different color like yellow or blue.

Would also be neat to have a 'visibility radius' of a special color around the person, visibility is 49 tiles in every direction from the character.

Now you're just cheating. C'mon now.

People have had private clients that show foragables on the mini map for awhile now. That's even worse.

"You bang a drum to start a war. Some soldiers got scared and started to run away. One ran about 100 steps and stopped. Another ran about 50 steps and stopped. The latter laughed at the former, calling him a coward for running 50 steps more. What is your opinion?"

---one of the metaphors Mencius used to consult for King Hui of Wei in ancient China

my opinion would be "the former should laugh at the latter for not running fast enough for emergency." or "both too stupid for stopping anyways.

That's been around with -res' since before World 3, (from what I hear since W1/2), I just prefer the neatness of it being coded.

I understand the desire for it, it just seems cold and mechanical to me. With all the recent client edits it's becoming less of a game and more a process of robotic efficiency.

There's a problem with making things more efficient? I don't want big arrows because they feel wrong and out of place, I like the radii though, they're simple and look pretty good to me. I like the client in general and it doesn't feel 'cheap' to me, just feels regular.
