Custom Client Troubleshooting flowchart.

Whenever I try to run Gilbertus's client, the terminal window pops up for a brief second and then the whole program shuts down. Does anyone know what's causing this? HH's standard client works fine, though Gilbertus's is working for my friends.

Same problem here. If the issue is that World 4 isn't compatible with the client, I really hope they fix it.

well i guess ill post again in this. i get and have always gotten a delayed resource error with both gilbertus and pachos clients. it only happens when there is tons of people online, such as now. i use the 32bit version my brother uses the 64 bit version and does not have the same problem. however i suspect it has nothing to do with the client, but rather a setting on my computer. i have update my network card driverrs and video card drivers and have an up to date version of java.

can anyone think what would cause my computer to get the data delayed vs my brothers working fine on the same connection? is there any network or router settings that could cause this?

I seem to be unable to load using any client beside the official one. I get to the character selection screen, choose where to log in and then it goes to black 'Loading' screen...
Anyone knows what to do?

That happens to me on the regular client, it just takes a few minutes to load and then it's fine. Unless it stays there for a long amount of time.

I'd still like to know why the client won't even get the screen up for me.

I'm running Windows 7 64bit, everything running fine on the official client. <-- stopped working

I was told to try out this new fancy client, and although had an initial problem of not being able to login (Bad username/pass), which was fixed by getting the newest update, but now the client, or something, keeps logging me out every 10 minutes or so. Just goes from playing the game to the login screen. Any ideas?

edit: Not quite 10 minutes, just different intervals. Whenever I try to join back it stays at Authenticating, then Connection lost timed out or something. I also cannot connect to the main website, but the wiki is fine. After a few minutes it goes through and I can play.
Nevermind it's also doing it with the official client, must be my end.

So, I installed the stuffies unzipped blabla
opened the run.bat got the nice haven and hearth inlog screen
tried to login .. could not connect.. followed the line ... turn of firewall... done .. Could not connect ... follow the line ... turn out firewall ... done ... could not connect ... turn down firewall o.O etc. etc.

have you looked at the O.P.?

looks like you need to edit your run.bat
and probably need to update your haven.jar
