The new update causes crashes with this client whenever you open the claim menu. The haven.jar file needs updating :)

Pacho, you should update your client. I updated the animation code for persistent overlays, and if you don't have it, it will affect cow appearence adversely.

Hi,

I've been having the same problem with the new client for a good couple of weeks now, (client would freze, and then internet connection would die) and i just got it working with the fix listed above. Looks like something in the irc/java process is flooding the network stack perhaps? I'm running win xp 32 bit (sp3) with latest sun java. I just downloaded the latest w32 zip tonight and latest patch so if a fix has been applied it isn't working in all cases.

I get the same issue; i start up the client and i get about 2 - 3 seconds of activity before it freezes, and i promptly lose my local area network connection entirely to the point where i have to restart to get the damn thing back again.

Which really sucks, cause i want to use a client that can fill up my whole screen, but this crashes my interwebs :(

start client, press ctrl + O, erase all server and channel info.

the IRC code can sometimes eat people's connections for some reason I'm not sure about.

That seems to have worked; awesome! Cheers.

When input login and password and then click Login, client write "Connection refused:connect". What's problem?
