If you have the tracks play simultaneously, you could have background ambience for claims/terrain and music for actions like fishing/combat/etc.
So village claims would have bells chiming and people chattering, forests would have chirping birds and creaking trees, sound of rushing water on a river, etc.

Also, is there anyway you could change the red hidden tiles to little pictures or names of what they are?
If you hide trees it would show up as a a picture of a cone or an apple
or if you hide plants the plant type would be shown.

Press ctrl+h after selecting objects for hiding.
