I tried doing it as administrator, a cmd window appears and disappears within half a second. then nothing happens.

I tried running the file, and it opens a cmd window, everything works fine up until I try to connect.

It says: Connection refused: connect


any ideas?




Edit:

tried another version, but that was too old.. HLAP!?

1. Make sure you're using the updated Gilbertus from Odditown's creations (they merged Gil's files with the new stuff)...
2. If it's C/R: Connect it's probably because your .bat file is malformed, what are its contents?

This client is so out-dated.

Use ender's client.

i would like to use ender but i set my java address on the bat i got no idea how to tell if my java is 32 or 64 i just know if i download it in internet explorer (64) it downloads with a (64) next to it and if i download it in chrome it just says java my computer is a 64bit win 7 and my other is a 64bit vista i can't get the bat file right at all for any of these clients if you or any one else can type out in full what needs to be in the bat so i can copy and paste it in to the bat file it would be much thanked here is my path to java.exe
C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jre6\bin

please if anybody knows the what exactly is supposed to be in the bat please post it including the path to my java please don't post it saying "full path to java" that doesn't help me or any <> everytime some one does that i mess up some where im not good at this and don't say oh it should look some thing like this this does not help me ether i need a full correct bat file basically thank you and i look forward to one of you replying
