Ok I am getting the connection refused: connect error. I have 64 bit Java but am not sure what bit the client is.I installed it today ( I only did the update. Is that a problem?).
Right after I update the client a full screen window pops up to play and it will let me connect. But if I close it and use the desktop shortcut I get the error.
I created a run.bat file placed it under my Haven and Hearth folder. I tried it with and without the -r. No luck.

Thanks

@morrogoth

is it jogl-natives-windows-amd64 in your Ender folder or jogl-natives-windows-x586 ?

if x586 you might change the path to Java as it's prolly 32 Bit (and Ender aswell)

@ Jordus

The Ender client updater normally fetches the bit version suiting your Java

please post your run.bat

"C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jre1.8.0_25\bin\javaw.exe" -Xms256m -Xmx512m -jar haven.jar moltke.seatribe.se
I copied it from your post then made a small change because my jre version was different then the one in your post.

Thanks for the reply.

the (x86) points to 32 Bit Java - if you have 64 Bit Java it's Program Files only

Have you tried to update with updater.jar (dl from first post in this thread, drop in Ender folder and run by doubleclicking)?

try with downloading this zipped .dll package dll.zip (Time to live: 7 days)

unpack (extract) the .dll files into your Ender folder

For some reason, I'm getting an error trying to compile a fresh clone of the git repo.

BUILD FAILED
build.xml:26: HnH-Enders\resources\compiled does not exist.

That file (or folder) doesn't exist in any of my other clones either, but they still compile just fine. I guess it's created temporarily during the build process, but I don't know why it wouldn't be created for this one. Same root folder and permissions on the cmd process. Le sigh.

edit: It would seem that the offending lines in the build.xml are actually new to this build, and my other clones don't even have them.
<jar destfile="build/client-res.jar" update="true">
<fileset dir="resources/compiled" />
</jar>

Ender, what is this stuff for?

Anyway, using the old build.xml fixes the compilation problem. But the client I get from that gets "Connection refused: connect" when I try to login. Argh!
