How to get an API Key

For quite some time I've tried to get my own API Key for the translator on Ender's client.
I have finally found how so I decided to share it with the community. Here it goes:

Step 1.
Get a Google Account

Step 2.
Go to the Google APIs Console website and log in with your previously made Google Account.

Step 3.
Turn on Translate API.


Step 4.
Click on API Access.


Step 5.
Copy the key.


Step 6.
Open H&H and paste it on the Translation tab of the Client Options window.


Step 7.
Profit!
Congratulations, you now have your very own API Key.

You need one in order to use Ender's built-in translator.

News flash. Google will only get richer. I mean, this is a very recent change. They deprecated their free (read:beta) service and are now contracting their finished product.

Well, when you use the website service, they can add in advertising. They can't easily do that (without really causing issues with their customers) with the API service. Why shouldn't they charge? You're using their software and hardware to do this.

BTW, I haven't looked recently. What's the fee you guys are bitching about? Last I looked it was a pittance for quarterly or yearly service. (At the time they were already charging for commercial use but under a certain level was still free to use.)

edit: $20 for a million characters? Wow... cheapskates. You could translate most of a novel for that.

Followed all steps and just noticed there isn't a translation option anymore
