Ender's Client Noob Questions

Alright, I'm new to Haven and Hearth (contrary to what my join date says I didn't really play for too long, died once and dropped the game) and I was instructed to get a new client to help me out. I picked Ender's client because I was told it's the most useful and I downloaded it. I've unzipped it updated it and I run it. It gets to the login screen and I get to my character selection but after I select my character and attempt to get into the world I get a white screen that occasionally flashes black. Or I might get a half of a second flash of ingame with my character and the trees all surrounded by black then I'm back to a white screen. I searched around the forums for a while and I'm just not seeing anything or I'm missing it. Someone please help me because I clearly can't figure it out myself and it's so frustrating to be unable to find even ONE rabbit. I've only seen one boar and I caught a rat twice but that's the extent of my creature experience and I'm severely limited in my options now.

TL;DR - Help white screen every time I enter the world on Ender's client. PLEASE HELP.

Alright after following the flow chart I edited the run.bat so that it looks like this,"start javaw -Xms256m -Xmx512m -jar haven.jar moltke.seatribe.se -r ./res pause" and I attempted to enter the world with my character. Now before when there was no pause in the line it would ask me hearth fire or logged out spot but now it goes to white screen immediately and there is no error appearing. How do I fix this? Is Ender Client just never going to work for me?

Anyone know what my issue is? Because I can't figure it out and I've been trying for a while. The normal client works fine for me though.

This is my newest issue.
start "C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jre6\bin\java.exe" -Xms256m -Xmx512m -jar haven.jar moltke.seatribe.se -r ./res pause is exactly how my run.bat looks.
I get this error:
Windows cannot find '-Xms256'. make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again.
Any clues?

Well I changed the commands so that pause is on it's own line but it still comes back with '-xms256m' not found. Don't know what to do and I haven't done coding in a long long time outside some basic c++ or html.

That's my post as well, I figured if I doubled up I'd have a better chance of someone seeing my post. Seems it worked.
