I know this thread is years old, but I don't have a jre6 file, and there is no audio folder inside ANY of the several jre folders there.
The thing is, my game already has the music in it. I'm just trying to find the MIDI files so I can fug around with them.
Does anyone know where they could be?

i had uploaded the soundbank.gm once but i guess it got deleted as there weren't any downloads for some time - but Oracle has a page with sounbanks back up again:
http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/ ... 35798.html

download and extract - create a folder called audio in Java/jreX/lib/ - copy the extracted soundbank-X.gm into created audio folder and rename it to soundbank.gm

haven-res.jar ( extract with i.e. 7zip) sfx/music folder contains res files with midi in it so you can't just play it with a midi player - you'd need to use a tool like boshaws Resource Layer Utility
viewtopic.php?f=27&t=23458#p288030

scroll down to Midi Layer - guess you might try to rename them from .midi to .mid to play (with) them

ingame commands here:
