Empty res folder

Postby krikke93 » Fri Jun 14, 2013 6:41 pm

Hi, so I wanted to edit a cape wearing them. As I tried to do so, I noticed my ender folder in res-gfx-borka is empty apart from a straw hat res.
Where can I find and replace the files for a cape? Normally it should be at borka but it's not there.
Hope you have a great day

unpack haven-res.jar (7zip works good with it)

I did that, so I edited a part of the cape res and decoded it again. Now I want to copy that file into the normal res folder overwriting the cape I edited. But I can't overwrite since there is no res files for equipment D:

make folders (structure) yourself - you can have haven-res, res and custom_res

AFAIK custom_res has highest priority so i'd put modded res in there

you can have different versions of folders when renaming them with underscore or numbers in front of them i.e.

only the ones with original name gets used - also good for testing and keeping track

They are loaded in the following order:
cached res with higher version -> custom_res/ -> res/ -> resdir passed as an argument ("-r ./res" in run.bat) -> %HAVEN_RESDIR% enviroment variable -> haven-res.jar
