playing on mac

I usually play on windows but since that computer is broken i am fored to play on my macbook.
I downloaded an endler client for mac here http://www.havenandhearth.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=27&t=32224 and it works but after I made my character and walk around for 10 seconds that game crashes to the login screen. When I tried to join another hearth fire with a new character, the screen goes black (the ui is still there though) and the character is lost forever to the darkness.
When I try to play the game for the "autohaven" it either gives an error or it gives a white screen.
I couldn't find any good help for mac on this forum and it seems the search function doesnt work.

Google search is your friend. The search function in phpBB is very limited.

I'm far from a Mac expert (as in nearly the farthest you can get from being one without being a complete idiot), but from reading a few other posts, I'm going to guess you have a Java issue. Apple has had some "issues" (we'll call it that to be polite) with proper Java implementations. Depending on what OS you're running and what version of Java, you may have to do some major fixing or upgrading. I believe there's a couple of links here on some possible fixes and I know of a couple on the Salem forums on getting Java to work properly on a Mac. Is your MACOsX and all drivers (graphic) updated to latest?

also you need to haven the proper jogl and gluegen libaries in Ender folder (url in above url aswell)

and you'll need to grab the Ender update (06.04.12) http://odditown.taggedup.com/ender/update.zip and unpack into Ender folder

(no mac here...)
