Setting up H&H on Mac

Hi,

I'm not sure if this is the right place for this question, but I have searched and I haven't found enough information anywhere else on how to do it. I have just bought a new MacBook and I can't work out how to get Haven started on it. I have tried all the instructions in threads years ago I found through search but to no avail; I have tried Java 6 and Java 7, downloading any missing libraries, editing run.bat/run.command... could anyone give me or point me in the right direction for a step-by-step guide on how to do it? ]

1. Make sure you're running java 6
2. open texteditor and write this inside it

Code: Select all: #!/bin/bash cd `dirname "$0"` java -d32 -Xms256m -Xmx512m -jar haven.jar moltke.seatribe.se -r ./res

3. save it as SOMETHING.command - Inside the custom client folder
4. Run the command by double clicking it.
5. Enjoy

Now an even more basic question - how do I ensure Java 6 is installed? I've read through help files etc on the Java website, and I don't have Java 7 but when I check my Java version through Terminal I get this:

java version "1.7.0_25"
Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.7.0_25-b15)
Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 23.25-b01, mixed mode)

Do this and you should have java 6

I've followed the instructions, but when trying to run the .command file inside Ender's folder (for both x32 and x64 versions) I get this message:

Christos-MacBook-Air:~ Christo$ /Users/Christo/Downloads/HnH_Ender_x32/haven ; exit;
Error: This Java instance does not support a 32-bit JVM.
Please install the desired version.

oh thats fucking annoying, found no fix on that so i removed java completley from my mac and took new java files from my friend's mac.

when you check Java version through Terminal now what version does it state?
