How to use custom res files on Mac

How do I make texture/resource packs work on an Apple Mac? When I do what it says it closes the game immediately after it starts connecting.

normally you'd use a folder named

custom_res
inside custom client (i.e. Ender) for them

I tried that but after I do it and click run.command it acts like it's going to start the game but then it closes. I have tried several things and it just keeps happening.
I delete windows.conf after that and it still does it.

windows.conf is for placement of panels (Coordinates) in client - so it shouldn't have to do with your problem as panels aren't using anything from Daji res pack

you might try to edit out

/res
from command (while i'm not sure if this solves it)

btw. in all your posts you never mentioned what client you're using (Steve has taken the Apple crystal ball with him)

Sorry, I'm using Ender's Client. I made the folder called custom (without _res) Still the same. I made sure all the folders that were in the old res folder were still in the new one from the graphics mod and they are. It literally goes to start the game then it immediately closes instantly. :x
