I set it to 5 times more than the default and it still doesn't work

Looks like in your map folder (02-27 10:28:08), there is a file whose name is messing with the script.
You could delete that folder, and it will work though you'll lose this run tiles.
Or you can find the mis-named file, and remove it (note that files names must all be of the form : "tile_x_y.png", with x and y being integers).

This shouldn't happen with normal usage though. Or I'm missing something.

Anyway, please let me know if these suggestions solved your issue. Sorry for the late answer.

I couldnt get any image from this - it explains it is going through the images, finished and leaves my screen but it doesnt seem to add anything to the map file etc etc. I must be missing something but any help?
