Question about custom clients

Okay so, I have been trying to get a lot of custom clients to work but whenever I press the run.bat files that come with the client, a command box pops up for a split second and disappears, then nothing happens. I tried the pause thing and I don't know what else to try because I don't know much about code. If somebody could please help me that would be great.

Is the path inside the run.bat when you open it in notepad the same as the location of your java.exe or javaw.exe? Do you have Java? Pause doesn't help make the client run, but helps find what caused the mistake. When you add pause, please take a screenshot of the command window that pops out when you open run.bat.

Send us the text in your .bat file, lets see if we can resolve your situation. Might be doing something wrong if anything.

Looks like it had been solved by putting in the java path
