When I got near another player I got sent back home

Can someone help me, find this cool hermit player wanna chat and all, but one problem when I get close to him I get immediately sent back to my hearth fire. Does anyone know what could be causing this or is it a recent, old or new bug? Or does this meant to happen if player has some skill unlocked or item that they wear?

This is a feature in some custom clients where it will automatically use return to hearthfire if another player is within vision of you. What client are you using?

There should be a command to disable that from happening. I'm moving this thread to the Wizard's Tower where someone will know.

Yeah, you have auto-hearth on - click the spanner to get the options menu up and then uncheck the auto-hearth box;

thanks, now I can at least meet hermits and chat, knowing that actually there are people playing at same time as me.
