To the ram builders

I was informed upon logging in today that there was a ram outside our walls. The clever little devils had made a palisade away from the village and built up to it when dry and put a ram inside a palisade. We did the only things natural and took care of it as you can see in the picture. There are no scents leading to us. The only thing I would like to know is for what reason did you go through the trouble of this when we have nothing worth taking. Even if we did have something worth taking its all locked up, as you can see in this photo here its impossible to get into the houses. I hope whoever did this could shed some light on why you bothered to attempt to raid our peaceful village.

Be careful in case they logged out inside the box, I cant tell if there was room to there, but it would seem like the thing to do

Be aware that material loot isn't the only reason for people to raid. Some do it to provoke responses from their victim as well as the surge of having power over others.
Also your post may end up rousing them further to destroying you. Is your village claim extended far from your wall? If so, you may be able to trace scents back to them and see who is responsible.

indeed i thought of that, i had a villager put a claim on it so that wouldnt happen

I would set up defensive rams and frequent patrols for the next few weeks if I were you to be safe.
