I'll explain because killing villagers isn't an action to desire.

So we recruit this guy, windfish. And he seems to be going alright, no biggie.
but as we all get talking in village chat with everyone just having a laugh, doing our normal do, we all notice he doesn't seem to have a clue about what he is doing
But thats cool, we cant expect everyone to be good players all the time, so we explain things to him, and how it all works. He replies that "he knows" and "he's not a noob"
So I go out foraging and hunting, talking in other chats not really paying attention, when I get back to the village, He's used our best bear hide to make himself a bear cape when he has none of the stats involved, and though a bear cape isnt a big deal, or any size deal, we could have used it on one of our miners who actually needs str for the job.
Next thing I notice he's gone and used our good leather (we dont have much, as in,10 pieces anyway ) and he's made that into a vest, when, not only is it a waste of our short supply of leather, but if he wanted armor he only need ask me and I could make him bronze that would actually do something. And finally, he had gotten the key to our minehole and had opened that, seemingly oblivious to the fact there is an x road not 2 tiles from the door.

The next day...

I do a classic Burg and sit down to read the rage, self important post, and generally have a laugh at some of the forums over my coffee, when I see another thread of his.
Where he is buying things he doesn't need, with things he does not own. True, if he had actually gotten a monocle and thimbles for what he was offering I would have got on my knee's and praised him as a master con artist. But well one of the things he was selling was my personal cheese, curio's I had traded for to help fill the shared village supply. And the rest of his selling list, not one thing belonged to him.

So I log in, and am greeted by a party chat of "we need him gone."
Now we've had some troubles in the past about villagers who are not working out, and when asked to leave peacefully they seemingly did so, then used an alt to loot everything of value. We Had o stop that from happening and killing him was on the table, and well, me not having much of a care at this stage let them do their thing.

Ipso facto, You were a giant dick, I havn't even listed all the reasons, you deserved it. However I would've loved to get you out peacefully, but safety and security comes first.
