What happened to the Marches of Taldor

This is insanely north of where I am but I could of sworn that I have visited this place before. I drove by just now and saw that the entire place is raided. There are tons of theft scents and vandalism scents. I was unable to see any murder, assault or battery scents but maybe my Perception is too low.

Reminds me of a village I came across. They were roleplayers as well, but unfortunately they didn't know that claiming the entrance of a cave does not protect what's inside. Thanks for the cast iron.

Um I was CT of marchers of Taldor and we were not a roleplaying community.... we actually had an internal civil war about 3 weeks into the world and most of us died so we left. No idea why there's still anything left there, so maybe role-players took it over after we left. Anyhow I am curious as to who decided to live there after we left. Either way they didnt build it only move into abandoned ruins

Marches of Taldor was a major superpower in w5. It traces its origins to late W3 after an internal dispute broke out in Bottleneck (Buyan), and the rebel command decided to fashion a superpower of its own.

Marches of Taldor disbanded early W6 after decades of civil war and unrest due to impoverished masses. The city reached a breaking point after the evil raiders from Dis and Ainran raided them. Z.A. sent soldiers to valiantly defend Marches of Taldor from devastation, but they were unsuccessful because Marches of Taldor had already fallen by the time the first squad of troops arrived at their walls.

It is rumored that many peasants were taken from the city and sold into slavery, where they work in Dis' Fort UZBEKISTAN to this very day.
