Dear people of haven and hearth, today me and my friend were reading the noob tips on the forum and I quickly checked my afk guy to see if anything had happened, I saw someone typing and talked back, they seemed friendly, just looking for pearls, but then they shouted, I was too late. A man in a bear skin came up and started attacking, I just logged off idk if I'm dead or alive, I am not going to ragequit like some I have seen do, I will make a new char but still this time was short and sweet, I will be tougher this time, learn faster fight harder. I know me logging seems wrong and cowardly but I have met 8 people I don't know since I started 7 of which traded and were nice, 1 wasn't but meh, not gonna go all butthurt.

But to whoever did raid us I hope you enjoy the stuff

EDIT:Also with out alt chars we cant seem to get our dead body stuff, it says that seems to be theft, how do you get some skills and some stuff back?

EDIT:And, how do we edit my old chars stake claim?

You need to make yourself an ancestor of that character to loot the body and use the claim.

1. It takes some time till your Char is really dead (going to be a skelleton) and drops the stuff - if your study box is locked (using Ender client) curios in it are lost...

2. you inherit in the char creation room by clicking the runestone with your new char - you then inherit the claim too and act like with your old char...

Thanks guys, got a new char, got my cloak but my friend lost his, I sadly only got 5099LP so I can't get all my skills back, luckily he didn't take anything but still.

I was killed with sergent while we were talking to this guy in a boat then he yelled "OMG IT'S HIM" and the guy with the bear cape stopped his boat and proceeded to kill both of us.

He stole nothing and only killed us, but we lost around 20,000 LP.

EDIT: This guy might be a huge threat to anyone nearby who are just starting as we assume he is just killing for no reason.
