Well well

Postby kalcio » Sun May 20, 2012 2:03 am

After a bad experience with a guy weared with a bear cap or somehting like that, he shott my from distance and bring me down, in while i was beging him for mercy not for my things just for my character, i told him i was new and even don't know how to fight, he came and keep fighting without cross a word with me, i came to one conclusion, this game isn't for me.

One week to build 1 house and harves some items and, 2 minutes to one came and destroy everything it's just a waste of time isn't even fun.

Btw the game it's awsome, so i'm going to give him another chance. but not alone so, somone want to be a team with me? i'm really active from Spain, i'm in the game big part of the day so. I'm a less new i know now how to get LP, and build things and stuff.

So hope someone answer and give to me another oportunity to try the game!, thanks!

When you're k0'd you're not able to speak in all chat so in all likelihood the other guy couldn't hear your begging.

On the subject of dying - Welcome to Haven and Hearth! Check out the dwarves and thieves forum under gameplay section if you want to group up with some other people.

it is a game of survival, it's not care bear land of friendship and rainbows

if you get killed for no reason, it shouldn't come as a surprise

if you meet someone, they pretty much weigh 2 things, the value of your friendship and the potential value of your goods

and tbh, most people probably don't really care about friendship with a noob lol

personality things like kindness/sadism obviously weigh in too but the basis is that as a noob, ur pretty much just a walking container of loot lol

I would change "loot" for "crap" but that's just me... If he is a noob as he mentioned and had just finished building a house, I doubt anyone would mistaken him for someone with any good loot.

Not true. There is a reason for everything--well, most of the time--.
Be it a sensible reason, or not.

Honestly, the majority here on the forums don't care if you stay or go, I however suggest you try again. These are dark times in the hearthlands, people are killing left right and centre, I am no exception and evil tyrants rule the world!

The game is about survival and you may have peace and quite for sometime, but eventually trouble always finds you. Part of the reason I am still playing is the thrill of excaping those almost impossible situations.
Stick around, learn to play, die many times, but learn from your mistakes and move on. ^_^

As suggested above, looking in Dwarves and thieves is great, but I find developing the skills alone being a hermit is the best way to play the game and the quickest way to develop a character.

I wish you luck and hope you have many memorable experiences.
I had a retardedly huge signature and have gotten this embarrassing replacement to show for it.
