Guide to surviving the Hearthlands

Postby bmjclark » Thu Aug 30, 2012 2:54 am

Step 1) Build statues around ur town / house / hearthfire

Step 2) Make sure your HF / vault is on an island

Now that you've completed the 2 most important steps, your 3rd step is to prepare to be bug raided. To be prepared, you must know these bugs.

1) The ram bug, i'd go into detail on this one but im fairly certain everyone knows it.

2) Ram bugging past a claim. In order to do this you have to tresspass on the tile you want to bring the ram through. If you do that, you won't get claim bumped for going back through that tile. Meaning you can get past the claim with your bug ram.

3) The force summon bug, a fairly important step in securing your kills if someone is online is to open a force summon menu on them after you've broken their HF. Just keep this menu open until you know they are offline, and then summon them. Congrats! Free kill

4) The bug jump. This bug jump will only work if your target doesn't have a v claim. Claim right up to the wall with your v claim. Place a crossroad up against their wall. It has to be right up against it! Next, place a crossroad up against the water. Now, put a sign on the CR on the water going to the CR at the wall. Boat up to the CR, and teleport to the CR while on your boat. It could take a few tries, but you should be able to get off ur boat through the wall. (as a disclaimer, i've never tried this myself so i could be off on my explanation). Fun fact, this is also how Ladygoo got her cows into her house. Raft up to the CR with a cow on ur raft, and teleport. Poof! Your cow is now where ever the CR you teleported to is.

I post these bugs as i will be quitting the game in the next week. I don't really want to engage in a bug war with AD and winterfell that they've started. I hope people who continue to play will use these bugs to defend themselves from the AD scum (or kill everyone for all i care).

I will also not be partaking in any counter bug rams, the pvp champ despises summon kills because they put him to sleep, much like full tradition and anything but 1v12's.

I think painhertz missed the part where no one died to the bug rams from Ainran

Whether or not you like ainran, the sheer amount of bug ramming they've recieved from A.D. and WF is pretty alarming.

Alarming? Yeah right, this is the point where it gets alarming. Come on people this is ridiculous.

It was alarming for a long time already and Ainran played a big part in why that was. Now that the PvP heroes get payback everyone is upset all of a sudden? Oh well, whatever you think is right...
