Yesterday our recruitment village was bombarded by about 50 alts being spawned with their hfs carefully being done around walls and crs. Today someone has blocked all of our crossroads off. I was curious as to why this is being done. My village is Elysian Fields and our recruitment village is Tortuga. Can anyone please tell me what is going on?

I think these activies lead only to one thing - some people (or even one person) want to prevent you from leaving your settlement, or at least stale you a little. I think you can keep an eye out for future contacts with random hearthfires, scouts and rangers - because an attack might be coming, even right now.

Well, yesterday the alts were claiming to be Dis and we asked around and was informed that it wasn't. We also asked if it was AD and was also told that it wasn't. We are a peaceful crafting/farming village and apart from a couple of our guys who recently left to become rangers, I have not been aware of any issues going on.

So you attack a trade village. What do you get? you get what they have there at that time. If you trade with them they in turn will make you stronger. Granted they make your enemies stronger too by trading with them. To get to the End Game high Q seeds curios food - you will need high level crafters. By killing them or attacking their villages it only sets you back by making them slow down and quit trading. To me it makes more sense to defend them and claim them neutral if they really are. That means both sides of a conflict say "ok lets help and find out who is doing this". Sometimes they cant get any help in defending a city because if they ask for help 1 side will be offended because the other was asked first, or even asked at all. Then they are told they allied someone when all they did was say hey come help.

There are fresh tresspassing scents so it wasnt long ago. And we are not really high end traders we play for the enjoyment of farming/crafting and being social.

Also she kept up the flag for free resources - she didn't pclaim the next mountain - so lots of ppl went foraging there...
