I have a little village myself, with minerals and stuff. Not too many visitors, most have been friendly. So I'm sure you could find a more less-bothered place.

I also had a dream about getting murdered in the cave the night before, and don't like the anxiety that this game is giving me. Games are supposed to be relaxing. I have realized that I just don't have the free time to "get good enough" to deal with the hostility and requisite PvP involved in Haven and Hearth. This girl is not a fan of combat.

I had a dream the other night in which I landed (in-game) on a planet a-la mario galaxy which was full of silkmoths.
Today, I had 2 in an area smaller than max zoomed out ender escape me. Insta-ragequit.

Aha, that landmass at the Very top of your map, just above the lake, is oddi town. They've been robbing and killing every hermitage and small settlement around them. Followed thief scents from my place, a full supergrid away, back to them. And nearly every place I passed along the way was covered in thief, battery, and a few murder scents. Bad luck starting near them Grouse.
