My two cents: Start over completely with your friends and next time claim your gate.

YOU! You've approached this with a optimistic tone, giving worth a damn advice while looking at the bright side, added that you only have 14 posts, your picture is awesome. Here, one cookie for you!

My color is Green
I value growth, life, adaption, and nature. I love to hunt, mate, kill, and eat--to me that's all there is. At my best I am instinctual and unpretentious. At my worst, I am vicious and unthinking. My symbol is a tree. My enemies are blue and black.

I can't understand why?

Btw got some questions.
When your gate (you got the key) is claimed by someone else. And you don't have the trespassing skill.
Can't you open it turning criminal acts on?

Anyway, the douchebag could just have built some hf around the claim. Preventing the villagers to get out.
If they don't have trespassing they may as well not have vandalism.

Anyway OP, give your coords. Someone nearby will move this shit out of the way for you.

No. Turning crim acts as a noob only lets you move across someone elses land (leaving a tresspass scent) The tresspassing skill itself allows you look at things on other peoples claims, but you can't interact.

Eh
I'm doubtful.
Could someone confirm or not that you can't interact with a gate without trespassing skill assuming you got criminal acts on and the key ?

Im not sure, but im sure he is right. You can only into doors lift stuff and such, once you have tresspassing with criminal acts on, as a noob also without any criminal skills. You can only walk over claims after what i remember.

You cannot open a gate on someone elses claim without trespassing rights or the trespassing skill.
