At least some people started to be engaged to the project. Dis won't attack them, will try to help with technology and defence.
I guess, I'll start considering existing villages to be involved as well.

I think the skepticism is warranted taking into account Dis' history this world, especially when you follow up with quotes like

It doesn't do much to make people sympathetic to a collaborative effort for a non-PvP SG, when you play straight into Koru's hands when he talks of taming noobs.

Well, I just wonder why the people from AD, Wrath of Rabbits, Polen Horde are posting such things in this thread. Probably they have a feeling we're recruiting people in our army (which was not my intention at all).

As far as joining the project... It is the decision totally up to neutral villages to have a strong protector or not. Being able to prosper or living knowing one day it might be the end.
Probably, this project is the most sincere and right one the Hearthland would ever see. ^.^ Who knows.

Of course, we are not white knights and are criminal scums or whatever we are loved to be called. Sure, in 90% of all cases if you'll meet someone from Dis you'll be attacked and killed. If your village will happen to have a weak defence system, it'll be raided by us. But... everything changes by time more or less. Sure, we will continue raiding in the future but with an exception for the villages who are involved to the project and be protected by us.
Game is about the process. Once you'll stop experimenting, getting new experience, changing your routine, you'll get bored as many people get bored with only farming/gathering/mining and etc.
Summing up you, anyone who will change his mind or attitude towards something by time will be called as a hypocritical person?

There is a big difference between non-pvp SG that I fully support and villages protected by one faction. You didn't give any details about your project and the only funny stuff is saying you can give ppl protection when Dis is the enemy of everyone, your words.
I am not afraid of anything, should I? I am only warning ppl, big words almost always have second meaning. As far as I don't know details I can only think about way to get cheap manpower and easy way to exploitation newbies.
If you have good intention why not to share your ideas here?
