I think there may be something to this coon thing.

It is indeed a racial slur but honestly it doesn't even make sense. Probably one of the stupider insults to be created, as it supposedly relates to the cages slaves were kept in and yet everyone relates it to raccoon instead.

As for your question, I have heard of the city, but I don't know where it is exactly, but I believe its somewhere in this general area, if you know what your looking for, you might be able to find it.
