Next time it might be better to post your story in depth with sceenshots, naming and shaming at the end and asking kindly for help.
If its true that you were sold stolen items and paid the price it means that Robertzon shouldnt be touched with a barge pole when it comes to future trades, or treated with suspicion.
Trading with more established and well known traders will prevent you getting into any particular difficulties, if you dont have a village idol then you run this risk but should try to get to know the person your trading with first and take all precautions.

Was this simply just an opportunity to pwn him and do you treat the rest of your villages this way (trick them then pwn them for making mistakes)?
