If i am all right.

Overlapping the vclaim & pclaim isn't enough. The vclaim has to cover the claim stake.

No. As long as one square of the vclaim is covering one square of the pclaim you can unclaim it.

My neighbour quit months ago and i've got my vclaim over a small area (say 30sq tiles) but not touching his pclaim stake yet and i don't get the option to revoke - unless i'm doing something wrong, idk, never done it before.

Edit: yep, lol, was doing it wrong - gradouble and Dill are right. :)

These are places I find while foraging, there aren't even close to my place, I just want to scavenge from the abandoned settlements. I recently got q160 seeds from a small field that was just outside one of these places, and another place had sheep wandering around, but none crossed out of the personal claim, so I'll just try again later.

Sometimes I search a village name in the forums and find out that it got raided and abandoned, so I don't worry about anyone coming after me if I take stuff, but I can't tell who owns the personal claims and if they still care about them.

i'll give you a quick trick i learned- first you find a crate or liftable object. Then you find a cart outside the claim. when you park that cart so close to the claim without touching it. After this you take the crate and place it half over the claim (mind you this is done with trespassing). If you are close enough to the cart you can place the crate or liftable object inside it and then pull the cart away. Ta daaa, you have now commited trespassing theft- it's theft that only leaves a trespassing scent.
The sum of my experience is comprised up of more skeletons on my own claim then alot of you guys have wood blocks invested in your wall. But even though these skeles show i am a bad player- i still strive to continue through this vile territory in the hopes that one day i will have an army big enough to find you and murder all you know
