You can easily get enough nice things to be
a fancy village by farming pearls, pearls are
the perfect tool for building an emp-... a
democracy... all it takes is enough pearls,
and you can get whatever you want that the
big trading villages will sell.

Combat for your protection is easy, take
your most creative hearthlings that are interested
and have them hunt, but dont make them only
hunt, try to organize a game where your hunters
hunt eachother in the woods while hunting!

Yeah, have them go all out trying to kill eachother.

They'll get good

Fuck a democracy. What you want is a republic.

That is pretty much the best/most sutibale reply to this entire idea.

The OP apparently doesn't understand that his idea just wouldn't work with the way things are in Haven and Hearth. Take for example the road project, that tanked after a short while because people couldn't behave. A lot of people actually liked the idea and came and lent a hand or two and helped out with the road.
This "great hearthling migration" is just absurdly ridiculous because noone in their right mind is going to leave their pretty little village walls/settlement and go build a "super city" with a democracy. Sure, it sounds good, but would it work? No. People in this community don't get along to best extent. You have people killing random noob players just because it's funny. You realize you could get an OK sounding guy to join this city, then just back stab you? He could AFK while in party with his main and come kill every single person and wipeout the place by himself. That's not even bothering with pointing out that he can get a group together and do the same thing but to a greater extent.

The point is, this idea will NEVER work with this community.

I understand that it is likely impossible. I am just seeing how many people may agree with the idea, and I am sorry I don't spend every minute knowing every single little detail about things in haven and hearth. Also if I may repeat myself I said in the OP that if you disagree with the idea move on and don't post.

You can't just ignore the side of feedback you don't want to hear. Seeing how many agree also comes in seeing how many disagree for perspective.

A lot of the people who responded I can see going out and doing something reckless on a whim thinking it'll work and aren't just flat out denying this because it ruins their "perfect" way of handling things. Those who responded are mostly those who would do something similar. This idea has many flaws and it may bring more joy to those who aren't part of it at the misfortune of those who are.

If you still feel like ignoring me and actually want to go ahead with this, the Dwarves & Thieves section should be where you're headed if you want to find others who want to join.
