You need to set brickwall, and surround it with statues, making it like vault. Also it MUST have area between wall and plots to be impossible to shoot people that inside. So something like 5-6k of bricks and 600-700 steel is needed

Just dont go near the water and stay inland and you will be mostly safe. World 3 I lived WAY inland, nowhere near water... 10+ min to walk to water. Never saw anyone except my neighbors and newbies walking by. You still need a brickwall of course though.

Look at the world map and find an area that has no water near it and no mountains for people to forage and setup there... once you have brickwall and idol you can setup a proxy trade/vault village near a river/mountain. Never tell a soul where you live and do everything through your proxy village.

no one will should ever bother your main village. Of course.. you may get bored living this way aswell...

My suggestion? Join a plotted village. Once you set your roots down in it, and they build your plot's BW, you have basically a giant field of vaults surrounded by a BW. Those villages are obviously fairly limited, but if you do manage to find one, it's nearly the best protection you can get in-game, besides a BW encased in statues.

You definately need a b/wall as everyone is saying but imo it is possible to play peacefully - i have done it for two worlds now and apart from a couple of incidents am surviving fine.

My advice would be that in addition to your b/wall make friends, that way you have support and help. Also communicate rather than trading insults.

It is doable, but takes a lot work to secure yourself and your town. But you will always have people trying to kill you since this game does involve pvp and people enjoy that aspect of it

Patrolling is piss easy, just build a waypoint system around the inside of your walls, walk it with an alt and hide/xray, boom you're done 30 seconds. Besides, if you're a hermit you don't have nearly as much real-estate walled compared to a village.

I succesfully build a hermit village every time I play HnH. I've had brickwalls, so it's not that hard. Also, I didn't play daily, sometimes I was away for a whole month and nothing happened

Living in peace? I was just wondering the same thing, and after having a few things stolen I know I have to build me a brick wall and a damn good one.
