Real life projects like watching paint dry, or grass growing. Brick making is terribly boring and probably as fun / rewarding as both of those.
You may have foiled the plans of BAD-EVIL this time, but there is no rest for the wicked.

I really dont understand exactly what you want to say to me, I get that you mean building a bwall is boring?. Luckily we are not all alike, the world would be so boring if we where.
Hopefully he is enlightened enough to have some RL meaningfull projects, and I am sure that aplying hes strong will to that would be much more rewarding than making a wall.

Wow when I was doing this post I thought I would be flamed and burned alive on a stake for brick walling a mountain. But I'm glad to see people appreciated the story. :)

To answer the questions above. I'm doing a Civil engineering degree right now. I might be spending to much time in here though. But this game really have made me rethink changing my degree to programming.

But the digging part of the project was more or less eased by watching A LOT of youtube clips while semi afk digging the clay. I have to say though that the lag made me nearly quit multiple times. The motivation that really drove me forward to finish the project was the jokes we constantly were pulling between of how badly mutilated we would be by a angry mob for doing something like this.

I have to say that I'm surprised though that during all that time digging and building I didn't bump into a hostile person. If I was killed or similar it might have pushed back my motivation. It might have delayed the whole project. But the first 30 brick signs went fairly quick, starter motivation I would think. The last 30 signs that needed digging was PAINFUL. I was literally counting each clay that was coming out of the nodes.

I think most boring tasks should be combined with youtube. Even though its risky not keeping an eye on the world map. If it wasn't for youtube I would probably never have finished this.

To me natural and spontaneous appropriation of property and utilization of those resources is always a great thing :D
