I've always kept out of the game 'politics' - mainly because i have friends and allies in the alliance, against it and neutrals, i tend to base my game relationships on the same values as i do irl, therefore its about ppl i like or don't like, not about what factions - if any - they belong to.
When this 'revoltion' stuff kicked off i was forced to take it on board to an extent and at least try to understand it

I had friends on both sides constantly talking about it, trying to convince me of the 'evil' of the opposing side and why i should make a stand and pick a side.
I refused to do so because for me it was not choosing a side, it was choosing a friend, which i wasn't prepared to do.
I did, however, read up on tons of stuff, including archives, lol, and at the end of it all this is my conclusion - for what its worth.
I honestly think all who are so anti-dis are in denial,

HnH is a game, an amazing game but still a game, the object of any game is to win. I understand being upset when you've been raided or killed, of course i do. I cried when i was brutally murdered in W5, lol, and my little pc ransacked, i was upset this world when redell bashed into my villi and stole all my cheese, cave bulbs and silk (i want a bloddy merchants robe! I must be the only mid-stat char in the game without one, lol.) but i understand it.
All of you who play this game know what it is about, you are most likely going to get killed at some point, raided a few times (i was palli bashed again - but chose not to make a fuss about it) and not everyone is going to be your best friend. Most of you will at some point tresspass, steal, maybe even murder, its part of the game.
What i really don't understand is why you all get sooo mad at Goo and Dis for effectively winning the game.
Which ones of you will deny that if you were able you wouldn't want to be in her position, which ones of you don't dream of owning and controlling every sg - ok, maybe not everyone, most though to different degrees. If you didn't you'd play the sims or farmville.
I'm a 'nice, friendly, happy' person but if i could start a new world with enough allies and means of taking it over, i would, of course i would, thats the winning of the game - Ruler of the Hearthlands.
Any serious gamer, deep down, wants to rule the hearthlands - wether you admit it in public or not.
Most of us know we can't so we settle for lesser roles building up our little hnh lives and watching the drama unfold, hoping we manage to survive.
Thats fair enough, but please, at least be honest to yourselves.
As for bug abuse - thats totaly the fault of the devs for not fixing them, hardly that of serious gamers, who of course are going to exploit them - come on.

Finaly - everyone breathes a sigh of relief

@ LadyGoo - kudos, lol. ( And i hope you recover soon irl.)
@ joojoo - i honestly don't know why you play this game, lol.
