Jorb, it would outline your intent and put an end to the moral ambiguity behind game abuses, letting users know that there would be consequences for game/server abuse that do break the game, damage the server, or some close to entering the realm of illegal activity. Are you telling me that you don't see how a lack of guidelines by which the community operates has been having a detrimental effect on both the direction that the community has taken in the years that it has existed? Although, you are correct, with your hands off attitude towards fixing things the chances are that any guidelines establish would not be enforced.
Holy shit CRF! Some major stuff there. Just wondering how will it be possible for law enforcement to proceed to find and persecute people here.
Either the devs or their hosting company would contact your ISP, or, as is more likely, German law enforcement that would petition your ISP for your customer registration information and make an extradition request to a low level government office dealing with these affairs. Your nation likely has an extradition treaty with either the EU or Germany for cyber crimes, unless it is a non-extradition country such as Russia, in which case you may or may not face prosecution by local law enforcement. While you may not be dragged off to Germany to face trial, there would be a good chance your ISP would deny you service or you may be forced to pay damages to the hosting company. Really, what year is it? Do you not think that people get in trouble for DDoS attacks?
