From the outside that is true, but you are only seeing what is happening on the forums, and perhaps a few closer companions who still play. The large factions post about how they are great warriors and the newbs post about how they are being raided and killed etc, you seem to be missing that among all that there is still a social and governmental game going on behind the curtain of the forums, they may not draw too much attention to themselves that you would notice but that does not mean they don't exist. I may not have the right angle on whatever game this used to be when you played it, but you often talk about the game being about the social side of things, well that all still happens, It's just hidden behind the inflated ego's of the "raiders"

You see that is simply not true. I still know 3 times of what is going on behind the curtains right now than you do.

I am arguing to improve the game, to get it back to at least where it once was even though that was far from perfect too. I am not being obnoxious, when you feel like you are being treated like that then it has a reason. In your particular case you calling me childish while acting like one and being one yourself.

if you do know more then it is certainly not being reflected in your words.

And yes I realize you are arguing to improve, I support many of your arguments. And you also certainly seem obnoxious.

Whatever else aside I was merely trying to point out that you are wrongly treating the people who still play, simply because its your opinion does not make it right or true, The opinions that are most likely right or true are those from people who still play, because they are more involved, which you cannot deny, you might have 100 people still telling you all about it, but they are second hand accounts and biased.

How you can even argue that the role I'm playing is not playing a role as much as yours... Two words, Chaotic Evil. One more, fascism.

Lol? I am a fascist now? Interesting turn of events. I am arguing about something we disagree about and that makes me a fascist? Yeah and you are certainly the one to have a well mannered conversation with then when you call your conversation partners such names.

Also, when someone disagrees with you that makes it a pointless conversation? Weird attitude you have. I consider discussions and disagreements to be a motor for my own mind.

Autohearthing was a fix btw not something that broke the game more. The devs took care of anything that might have brought back balance though.

Lex talionis - And only once now, even though you have went on to ignore what I've said and skip right to the part where you attack me a few times in this thread. Might I add, how ever indirectly it may be. (Stating Ainran is living in fear, thus allied with Dis would be an example)

The fascism comment was directed at your attempt to define for me what is considered "more role playing".
You may have foiled the plans of BAD-EVIL this time, but there is no rest for the wicked.

However broken game is, nothing will be done so none of the "fixes" we provide, information what should be fixed what not, where to turn the cards will not be implemented and everyone is aware of that. (Only the mighty himself knows when a lightning change will happen and HnH will see daylight)

But its also a fact, that people who quit the game, cannot see what is going on inside and are not the ones who would help the game to become better in future.

You hear stories, you see pictures, you know the outside, but not the inside.

I am sorry, but that is complete nonsense. The game has been entirely stale for a year now. I know everything there is to know, nothing new is gonna happen in the game anymore until new updates come.

I would even argue that I have the better view on it than the ones still playing. I have seen the game in its current state from the inside and now I have some distance to it and can make a proper judgement. I couldn't back when I was playing and I am pretty sure neither can any of you that seem to be hating me so much for calling out the games broken state.

BMJ is kinda right though. I play to win and the game has been broken beyond repair so one cannot "win" (I know some people have problems with this term in HnH and how to define it)in the same terms as one used to be.

Crossposting this:

For all those who still don't get it: This game was never made to be a PvP game. Open permadeath PvP is just a necessary mechanic to support the kind of social, economic and political simulation the game aims to be. The community and some very unbalanced mechanics have made that game go to shit though and create a broken sport hunting game frankly of which there are better ones out there if that is the game you are aiming for.

If it were up to me I would remove the entire combat system from the game and just make it an exchange of punches letting the higher number win till the day the devs find time to implement something real. That would make the game at least somewhat go back to its roots.

So yeah I don't aim to win in a halfassed melee hunting game. I aim to participate and excel in what used to be a very interesting simulation of society.

You may play and enjoy the game all you want, I don't care about that and don't belittle you. The game is another one than the one I used to like though and in my opinion it is that because it is broken and is getting abused the shit out of it by some raider kiddies. I won't get tired of reiterating it and you all know it to be true. Some newbies still playing Haven and Farm don't change the fact that the entire political landscape has gone to hell and there is only anarchy or rather barbarism left.

About that crosspost, do you have any names about games similar to this one? Where it did not fall into the pvp-pit that is.
