In most of these cases, loyalty takes a back seat.

This right here is exactly what should never happen. When one analyzes how the game is built and what is necessary to succeed then loyalty will always appear as one of the most important characteristics one should have. So no matter what happens one should value the town as one entity and with it the villagers above all else. Even when the struggles within the town are bad, keep them within the town and try to solve them no matter what the cost. Betraying the loyalty of your fellow townmembers will cause the very integrity of your village to crumble.

I wouldn't call this person the leader as we all have made important decisions as a group, but they were certainly the most dedicated and hard working of the group and obviously highly trusted considering the fact they were one of two people with access to all key/chief/ls alts.

Some of you would actually be pretty surprised knowing who it was in my opinion.

Same reasoning in this situation actually except it was only one person who was being "mean" and I'm sure you can guess who it might have been, which also means you know they are just your average troll and not really a mean person at all. At least I don't think so.

The only reason I chose not to reveal their identity was out of gratitude for all the hard work they did for this village even after betraying us for no good reason. If other people follow suit I have no qualms with that.
