You, on the other hand, spew shit that doesn't matter to anyone other than raider factions. You are ruining the game (albeit, to a lesser degree than the Russians), regardless of what you think, but you are so caught up in your own perspective, you can't even see the long term damage you are inflicting.

And yes. I miss certain players, goons included. At least they weren't self centered twats like your little group. I miss people from Bottleneck and Xanadu and Sodom and Hivemind and Death and exewu and stickman and Alice and Nyx and Ito and alot of other players that made the game better by contributing to it as a whole.

You know what I miss the most? jorb and loftar's silly and stupid messages during gameplay and before a shut down.

Picture me twirling my fingers in the air at your successes, guy. You fucking sad, sad little thing. You have my pity.

When those people played, I ran around killing people the same as I do now (since the start of world 3 ).... and it was never a problem. Changes were made to the game that catered more to my play style, and less to yours, - now I'm out to ruin the game? I know vaults are broken, and so is the siege system, and I've added my input on how they can be changed when I could.. but we both know, right now it doesn't matter. I'm just playing the game because no matter how broken it is, pvp is still a lot of fun. I'm sorry you are no longer enjoying yourself.

You should keep it at comments like this last one. Not the one before. That attitude of bashing all veterans and intentionally misinterpreting them doesn't help you at all. Those guys all do know what they are talking about and why they are quite pessimistic at this point.

You are able to give input on a very limited matter yes, but you are missing the point that all other ways of gameplay have been completely eliminated. Even with you playing this raider style legitimately it just adds up on top of all those exploiters, bugraiders etc. Making the game an even more unpleasant environment for people with knowledge and visions, but no desire to fight (constantly. We never hesitated defending ourselves or ignoring this aspect of the game).

This could have been such a nice thread about a lot of kills of something resembling main chars. Instead you chose to let it out on Avu. Despite his harsh attitude he is of course right in every single thing he says and ironically enough you are basically even proving his point. The game is meant to be a social simulation so unprovoked violence should usually have consequences which make it undesirable and a high risk. Fighting should be an absolute exception in wars, fights for ressources, land or whatever. The game is not meant to be killing high investment chars and destroying high investment places for a sport. (by the way why not choose a game that is dedicated to sportsmanlike competition and much better at it) In a healthy environment such behaviour would be punished quickly. The lack of anyone able to punish shows the games sickness though.

Should have just posted a few fun pics and bragged a bit. You are really not helping your point in bringing up this whole discussion again since you basically prove your critics right. Avus name calling and whatnot is simply his way of venting his frustration on what has happened to HnH over the past months, but his core arguements you just helped to support.

You can't say Avu was right in every point.

Avu wrote:Of course you don't. Don't want to upset the angry russians who can rape you to the moon.

The only thing I actually quoted him on was him saying we we don't want to attack Dis because we wouldn't want to upset them and get "raped". I'm sure you can take a guess on why I didn't want to attack them. And when we finally did (even if the first one was an accident), we obviously didn't get "raped".

If Avu gets to blindy rage on about how pvp'ers are pyschopaths in real life, compensating for issues in real life, or ruining the game, but its' tolerated because hes' just venting.... Can't you tolerate me venting through a funny story? I don't really think either WarpedWiseMan, or Avu gave me a chance to voice my opinion before citing me (Nao clone), as a reason for the downfall of the game, and that lead to this post.

That is just a part of his rhetoric. He doesn't care who kills whom there. The point is that everybody is killing everybody else.

I honestly don't see the problem here. Valten quoted an overly stupid comment that avu made and posted this thread about how we killed the people we're "afraid of". Honestly, if avu is gonna say shit like that he deserves to be proven wrong ;) .

I think the only way to bring this game back to focus on social and economic issues is to replace the combat system with one so boring that nobody would fight simply for fun. :(
Once a man has changed the relationship between himself and his environment, he cannot return to the blissful ignorance he left. Motion, of necessity, involves a change in perspective.

I don't think anyone finds current combat system itself "fun". I think those, who use it find _fighting_ someone fun. Also, chances to get killed and loose long-time trained combat alts adds some adrenalin. Also, smart village-riding can be profitable (profit is always fun, no?).

A good social part of game - combat competition, based on bad (flawed, <insert your opinon>) part of game - combat system.
