Well, it doesn't change my opinion much.

They refuse to hire someone else, because they feel it will slow them down. That feeling will probably only get stronger over time. But even a small game that goes professional needs a multiple of what they have in Salem.

For the UI. Good the Paradox at least makes them do a re-skin. But that is not enough since it only changes...well the skin. The actual mechanics need to be entirely overhauled. There is not much good about the UI to begin with. And they still seem to hate working on it. It needs to be proritized a lot more than they are aware of. Since you want Joe Average to be playing and liking your game, but with the current layout he just won't stick with it for 5 minutes.

... Found one that is maintained by the first team of indie devs I love in every way. They have a great understanding of how a game should look like, how to make a great game for the purpose of a great game and not the money, still maintain a sound financial model and above all are listening to the playerbase's critique. The game also looks great, has a nice atmosphere in sounds, graphics, music and detail, maintains proper mechanics and so on. Not only that, they usually fix stuff in a matter of hours and the downtime for patches takes them less than 60 seconds.

I would like to play such wonder too, can I have the name? At least in PM if it can't be publicited?

potjeh, burgingham, guys try to remember that salem is not the same game as h&h, but just like this, salem is a game that's not going to be for everyone. and there are still some people out there who don't want to see h&h die
