Are you telling me that you don't see how a lack of guidelines by which the community operates has been having a detrimental effect on both the direction that the community has taken in the years that it has existed?
The only ambiguities here are the ones I experience from time to time. This is a despotism (Enlightened, I like to thing). I don't care if you don't know "the rules". The game is provided as is, and in a whole bunch of senses I do not give a shit. While I am flattered that some people (still) enjoy the game and what we are trying to do here I do not, in a more fundamental sense, give two damn cents worth. I was here before you, and I will still be here long after you are gone. Loftar and I would be here even if no one else was, and if I one day decide to go in and randomly delete things just for fun then I will do so. One of the beauties of private property is precisely that I don't owe you an explanation.
That being said It obviously annoys me that the combat and siege mechanics aren't what they could be.
And I quite enjoy the community. Most people here are quite nice, and I dare almost say that I've actually made some pretty good friends here.
Although, you are correct, with your hands off attitude towards fixing things the chances are that any guidelines establish would not be enforced.
My point precisely.
Do you not think that people get in trouble for DDoS attacks?
Do you really think that a police force that summarily drops the vast majority of crimes against life and property without further investigation is going to care about some forum drama in an online game? I don't. Furthermore I am skeptical of the validity of many so-called cyber-crimes, and I decidedly have better things to do than report some script-kiddies to the police.

So this is how liberty dies? With thunderous applause.... not that I think that the empty threats of a petty hob-goblin can quite compare to real evil.
