And with that being said, it's quiet boring without someone trying to stop us from running around killing who ever we want. But wouldn't this just lead back to the broken siege system, and difficulty of raiding villages - and not the current player base? I've been running around killing everyone I see since world 3. The games changed to cater to me more, and I've become a better player.

Basically, when I could be brickbashed, or killed by Sodom (I was once, and almost again after that), I still ran around killing people enjoying the game for what I make of it...

World 3 is a pretty good example of city states controlling and monitoring their regions.
I'm not sure about Sodom, but when I played with Bottleneck, I remember there being many randomn killings in the very beginning, or reports of murder, which were mostly all met with swift justice. After a while there were almost no cases of murder in the entire supergrid.
Never at any moment did I encounter any hostile individuals during my hunting trips. I can 100% guarantee that many people who lived in the SG can back this statement.
Concerning other supergrids, the amount of criminal activity varied from SG to SG and according to their faction's own policies.

Yup, it's fine with me if raiders have their fun out in the backwoods, as long as I can keep my neighbourhood clean.

Anyway, IMO assaulting and defending a village should be about resource investment, but with lots of room for optimizing the deployment of these resources so a group of better players with less resources could defeat a group of worse players with more.

So what is it that's bothering you so much you feel the server should be shut down? A shitty community, or that raiders can't be stopped as easily due to the siege system?

Clearly the inability to sit in a massive village and never
have to worry about raiders or rams, why should they have
to patrol a wall they spent weeks making?

PS, last village i "assaulted" took several attempts to get the
ram walled in correctly so that i could bash down the wall, they
continued to use their resources to defend themselves as i used
mine to assault them, they didn't do enough and they were lazy
so, RIP Tandem

The former, which is the product of the latter going for a looong time.

And bugger off Nao, adults are talking.

Cute, potjeh, telling a kid to go away so that you can
play a video game ;)

Don't you have some strawmen to build elsewhere?

Too much hate blowing through this thread already. Why do we need a NEW BUG, EXPLOIT, HACK to bring back all old problems to the table and discuss them over and over and over again?
