"Just posturing" as opposed to what, though? We all have to try to control the impressions we give as we speak and discuss, no? Fundamentally I'm trying to communicate how I feel about the game in its present state, which could be summed up as;

1) I hate that people use shitty ways of attacking other players. It really pisses me off.
2) I can't do too much about it, and I understand perfectly well why it happens.
3) I don't owe anyone anything. When the game isn't working that is, indeed, always my fault, but I don't owe anyone a working game. Getting mad at me isn't going to be a successful strategy if you want things to change.

EDIT: Oh, and 4) I would really like to provide a working game, I am very flattered that people seem to enjoy it for what it is, and I do want to hear what you have to say about it, and I do try to listen.

Hey Jorb, one of my friends came up with an awesome Idea, perhaps two worlds, two different servers, one for people who wish to abuse game mechanics and test ideas, and if something does work, then they tell you about it, and you fix it in the other world. Free bug testing, as well as making the game better for everyone. One legit world, and one world that anything goes. Because Hey! Let's all be cheaters on World B!

Also; You could do some crazy shit on World B, like your Flying Bear Day.

Also Also; Make it so that we can throw our boat at people/aminals to kill them please, it's the only way my friend will join.

We would like to see fixed bugs and abusable mechanisms than punishments for breaking uncleared rules. As the game owner you have right to do everything you want to but fuck the players and we will see god mode off. Don't take it as a threat, rather observation of the community used to dramas and being raped to strike with double power ass penetration.

How could you possibly threaten or punish Jorb for such actions? What CFR mentioned is not very realistic imo and other than that Jorb can always just shut down the server and say byebye to you all.

He simply doesn't have time to fix things right now and showing that he doesn't let you kids do everything by punishing a few might not be perfect, but at least it shows people their boundaries. Or you know, people could just stop using exploits to temper with other peoples fun.

Vested interest. Everyone complaining has found something of value in the game in one shape or another and wants it to blossom in its own way. That or they're rabble rousers but it's some times hard to differentiate.
