That would be awsome and I would accept it right away, but its hard to have a role-playing village nowadays. I did cheese, trees, silk, cows, pigs, mining, prospecting, basicly everything until i blown my head off, so now I'm left with animals + silk, while I got friends to do other things (thank you all plotmates :P). But still if I wanna eat, no one is gonna make 300 pumpkin pies, 100 ddd, 100 mbc, ... for me so I could eat them in 5min.

And you know for yourself that if you wanna make lot of food, you need big farms and again, someone maintaning them :)

We had awsome RP village in w3 (Angkor), but it required dedication from all members which we had. Cook online for 5-8h per day, farmer even more, we all mined one was for cheese one for trees, one for silk and one hunter. Worked perfectly and 6 of us were able to cope with best villages in w3 at the end with some qualities, even tho we started half way through w3.

Sure, if you know someone who would farm for me. Nokocola used to do my farming, but she was the laziest farmer known to H&H and I'm glad I took it over and used farming scripts instead.

Well of course bots will always work harder, faster and better than a person would. But honestly I just dont see the fun in playing like that, I tend to think of this game as a large social experiment rather than an actual grind game :)

Sure, but I hope that experiment isn't "can people get other people to do boring/repeptitive/tedious tasks for them?" I wish farming was a lot more like cheese making.

Thats not the sense I mean it, I mean I view it as a social experiment because I find it interesting how people approach having to work to reap the benefits of hard labor, you have those people like nokocola who (im assuming) did not put in much effort, but then expected the rewards, or you have those people who work exceptionally hard but don't expect any reward or better treatment above the nokocolas of the world. Botting your daily chores ruins all that IMO.

Another way to put it would be like the early game, nearly everyone loves early game because it is a challenge and different to the end game people grow used to. If you did a hazzor(?) and started a new character in the wilderness with no help from mains or whatnot, would you be using bots? if so, how does change the gameplay at all from what you left.

Also ramo I'm not really sure what you mean by roleplaying.. What i'm talking about isn't roleplaying, Its just having people help you out instead of bots :) But I might be missing what you actually mean.

What I mentioned is roleplaying, playing a certain role in village. Your role = silker, my role = farmer, role of Bruno = cook, Friderik = miner, John = treeplanter. You provide us with silk tablechotls, merch robes, john makes us feasting table, miner provides us with symbel items made out of metals while I farm for our cook who cooks food. So everyone has its job and does only that + whatever he likes the most. It is same as you are trying to say, so instead of me farming + having bot for cooking, there is a player in that position who plays that "role".

And as I said, you need strong will and dedicated players so they would stick with one role inside village for all the times. Consider also that if you get raided and some die, you need to replace them, but we all know how hiring new people goes :)

oh, that bit makes sense now.

You are right, but I do think it is quite sad that people care so much about getting ahead in the game that they make bots do the work perfectly rather than someone who may not work as well but who provides a social aspect to it as well. Its nice to have a laugh with villagers rather than play alongside a bunch of robots.

I guess it would be like when (phaen or kaka I forget which) made a village ran entirely by bots, he said the only thing missing was the conversation between them :)

I like to compete in raising q, but gotta admit that I mostly do with myself (I wont deny that I wouldn't want to have best q stuff in world ofc), since I always want to reach max I can with stuff given to me. Trees, silk, industry etc., so my co-villagers would suffer :P
