I kept this behaviour as kind of an old habit till I stopped playing in w5. Everyone I met I talked to first and since it turned out to be friendly people in 90% of the cases in w3 I never really changed that attitude. In todays world I would be completely lost with it.

The thing is some people prefer an arnachic, non-social system probably because they don't get at all that there is more to the game, higher purposes than manslaughter. These people are clearly lacking in organization and a preferable, no consequential route of the game should be for the world to develop from an arnachic hellhole to at least regional controlled areas with blossoming societies. Then it is much more meaningful to have real wars too btw. With the current state of the game such a development is impossible though and the hearthlands are doomed to remain in a social stoneage. Why? Because:

Because noobs don't know how to create counter rams
and then stay inside their walls when a world renown
killer is lurking at their village, watching everyone and
timing attacks so that i can kill off the members i wish?

or because they dont come out and kill me when i stand
in front of their village alone?... ORRR because i kill them
in 4v1s and 5v1s?...

Or should i be an exception?

You probably shouldn't be able to win a 5 vs 1 even if the guys are just bashing in your head without giving it much thought, but that is another topic to discuss and doesn't belong here.

And this whole siege topic or rather about this specific siege doesn't interest me much either. This topic was about the account theft and the general tendency of things getting worse due to a lack of control by the devs. How you Ainran guys managed to think all these things are directed to you and you are the middle of the universe just because you are getting some attention this world is beyond me, but can we keep this on track and discuss the general way the game is going in and what has to be changed? Granted the Congress might not be the best forum for that, but the thread had talen that particular direction and I don't want to open up half a dozen other cans of wurms.

One more thing which was always ignored by those who are blaming raider... That the raiders might also have complicated social relationships inside of their factions; they need to have top-q crops and resources to supply their warriors who might die, they need trade actively, they need to have outstanding silk/cheese/metal production. To be stronger they might need more people to join them. By the time passing they will be bored/have good trading/know new people relationships and start making and supporting villages for newbs. All this happened to NNN last World. Like 6 core villages, twice more villages under protection and guide. :) Quite a big community though. I bet this will repeat sooner or later. Summing up, raiders have to do the same as any normal villages. Maybe even more. They have to come through all the aspects of the game to succeed.

Maybe something which would really help:
I was thinking about declaring special SG's out of our aggression since even I'm quite worried about the lack of strong villages which might lead to wars between so called raider factions like Dis and Ainran. :D

Right.. we're not talking about the seige system or anything...
were we? we were talking about the community... only thing is
the raiding system works fine, there's un rammable objects
that cause unbreakable vaults.... the seige system is hard as
is, but it doesn't prevent you from playing, neither does the
combat system

Skill against lack of, of course a master assassin is going to kill
5 random fools with swords and bloodlust...

The seige system is fine, by the way, if you put a bit of thought
in you could get scents to everyone in a village, and hunt them
down online, and the defenders get the easy part of ambushes
and pro arena knowledge...

Even though I'm unclear about which category I make in this, I'd love to share my thoughts..Oh wait, What the hell are we talking about again :roll: :)

Also that 5 on 1..whoever lost that, wtf... ever heard of no pain no gain? if they didnt have the logic to do that while they had 5 to your one then they probably shouldnt count as kills :?

I use movement combat, i dont stand still and let
people wail on me like a fool. There are 5 people in
a 10 tile proximity around me, but i dont let more
than one use anything on me at once

-queue Oddity laughing about how there's no such
thing as movement combat- (@ oddity) i went to
your village once, got two people to come out,
agro'ed both and then one was a friend so it became
a little spar between me and the other, i broke his
defence with a 50 and was soon to follow with a
fresh swing, he had more UA than me and 3 less agi.
There's absolutely no advantage to movement combat,
i know.



And to be entirely honest, i don't quite know what the
topic is atm here other than rage wars xD

I understand you can say HVs are bad, bug exploiting is bad, account stealing is bad but now even raiding is wrong?
About the organization, infrastructure, just lol. Real threat are ppl who have gear, supply, who know what to do. I see hnh now in dark ages, bloody, violent and unfriendly for weaker. I enjoy it.
