Which, indeed, is the philosophy that we have always tried to have. You will notice that, compared to most MMOs, we don't try to regulate your behavior in game.

As the game owner you have right to do everything you want to but fuck the players and we will see god mode off.

Hi there. You may want to clarify this as it can be interpreted different way or even have different view point of what is a shitty way to attack. Various opinions can occur to things such as backstabbing, bringing cave-ins on enemies with alts, etc. I assume you mean exploitation of features which is another debatable topic.

Of course. It isn't entirely obvious what a shitty way of attacking someone is. In this particular case I would argue that whoever had a hearth secret set was being a complete idiot. Using unintended ways, perhaps? I'm not actually entirely sure what a shitty way is, which is perhaps also part of the reason why I don't try to police the game.

I understand that the present siege mechanics can't really be used, so I don't hold it against people that they don't.

Maybe destroying one's boat. I killed a few fishing newbies that way, without leaving scents.

Haha, yeah, maybe. But the blubb-blubbs they make are also quite funny I assume.

Again, another example of how things like that are obviously our fault. When we introduce new mechanics it isn't always trivial to see all the ways in which they could be used and abused. That's why we need people. Oathing hirdsmen wasn't intended to facilitate trades, for example. Summoning hearthless people wasn't intended as a teleporation device. :)

I think the only real problem here is, as usual, that we aren't actually working on Haven.

To be entirely fair we have in ways big and small already begun. A lot just obviously depends on what happens with Salem. :)

Anyhoo, I think I'm about done with this thread for now. It was nice talking to y'all. :)

We dont need big fixes, we just dont want to be afraid of one traitor that can destroy the whole town just by summoning ppl inside. One of solutions i can see: take off the opportunity to summon ppl on area of foreign VC. And something like: option exile or leave village will destroy hf of exiled person if is it on area of VC. So this may work property if LS will be the ONLY char that can add people to VC and u will know all alts the same person. This is just solution for Villages that can organize themselves.

Yeah, we've been discussing a fix to the summoning problem, and it is something that we will probably do something about.
