Different characters for raiding and foraging/hunting, so have fun catching the char with scents online outside his vault. As for having your vault broken, just move characters to a different one. An active player should be able to maintain at least two vaults, so a village with a dozen people will have lots of vaults. You can't camp them all, and the moment you leave a broken one it'll get repaired. Not to mention you can make some rather BS technically legal vaults where it takes half a dozen separate rams to get to the centre.

You miss the point of them actually being on the raiding
/violent character at some point.. if they never play on
it, what point is ther in persecuting them? even with a
thousand vaults, the weakest link is the character. It only
takes so much to kill it

Burg, I don't know where you got the impression we think this is all about us. Obviously I'm going to comment on most things in regards to "raider villages" as we happen to be one. Also, take note about what Lady Goo said, we don't kill - everyone - we see, we do make connections with village for trades, and assistance in raiding. This social aspect some feel we are neglecting is just as important to us. I've stated a few times already, I can't tell if the topic of concern here is account hacking, or raider villages. What I'm getting from this is both are ruining the game equally.

i didnt think op made this thread to discuss the general way how this game should be.
and the discussion is all about vets nostalgia, accusations, and assumptions based on merely what has been posted on the forums, ignoring not-major towns gameplay because they keep quiet for their reasons.
if you dont even want to split this like you would usually do, how about moving this whole thread to inn or wherever you feel appropriate. surely this is not any congress matter, is it?

The problem is that raider villages have risen to prominence, this sparking more and more and more and more competitiveness.
You may ask why in the first place?

Well the answer is simply that there is nothing to do but raid unless you want to go insane doing mindless tasks.

What is wrong with the topic going "off-topic"?
When you have a conversation in real life it progresses from one thing to the next, etc.
How is this any different? A discussion/remark about account stealing has turned into this.

nothing is wrong going "off-topic" for a while as long as mods find it bearable.
but changing the topic and "keep track on" the off-topic as moderation? what is moderation for then?

Your right Ewlol in that sense, it is why we pvp endlessly, it is the greatest source of enjoyment for us in this game. And I've tried to experiment with other aspects of the game, notably with my village and plot lay out, but aesthetics seem so limited in this game... Suppose that's for another thread though.
