Just because a place has a brick wall doesn't make it a vault. The term "Hearth Vault" was coined to mean an IMPENETRABLE place to stash your HF in so you are free to go about murdering/raiding/whatever heinous crime without being summed. A-lot of people seem to not understand what a Hearth Vault really is. I know I once was unlcear on it. However, I know now what it actually is.

To put it simpler: If you can ram it, then it's not a Hearth Vault. Just a cheap immatation or just simply a settlement.

Besides..if you look closely right next to the Idol, there's a Hearthfire. That could be the owners. Not very good for someone who doesn't want their character force summoned.

Actually that isn't true. Impenetrable hearth vaults are impenetrable. Normal hearth vaults (which are far and few between now it seems) are penetrable. If you take a look around some W5 threads I'm sure you'll find some regular vaults.

Also the hearth fire outside is likely the lawspeaker alt.

How would you know? Is that your place? You can't just assume it's the Lawspeaker alt. Or an alt at all. It could be a main.

Actually I've noticed most of the vaults in W6 aren't impenetrable I don't really know what you're talking about, most of them are very difficult to ram into but not impenetrable.

Ive seen very few actual impenetrable vaults. It's just alot of them might as well be impenetrable =s.
