Wolfang wrote:Never at any moment did I encounter any hostile individuals during my hunting trips. I can 100% guarantee that many people who lived in the SG can back this statement.

guess what, i lived in your SG back then, and my villagers met 3 hotile accidents. one of us got murdered when cutting trees, another succeeded in running away, but was chased while foraging, got his boat with chests destroyed, and another...i forgot. 100% is not true, and we all hesitated when you wanted to meet us through the forums. (you probably dont remember though.)
however, i know all your people helped us with thieves and other stuff, tried to chase those criminals away all the time, and we could live happily with your protection most of the time. that is where and how i learned about this game and i am still thankful about that. i am not up to do the same to the others, but guess what, there are still players left in this world, trying to do the similar. (not the same, mind you, because most of the criminals back then were just "wanna-be"s, and most had their hfs outside.) and i am pretty sure Dis and Ainran do the same to their own friends.

You don't understand at all what I mean when I am distinguishing out of game and in game.

Out of game is not some vets that are not playing. I am saying that hacking passwords is an issue that goes far beyond usual abuse of in game bugs. So yes, you have been putting words in my mouth there pretty badly by assuming an arrogant attitude in my words which was never there.

Tbh, the 'out of game' vets are the ones who helped build the game up to what it is now. It's no wonder so many of them are moderators.
Being ex players doesn't mean we don't want to play, we just want the game to not be broken, arguing the game isn't broken right now is ridiculous.

This might be readed as a shot in your own foot, cus u say vets had impact on the hnh and now they don't like how it looks like.
I haven't seen a community with so much hate tbh, I haven't seen devs that enjoy of that hate. There are no rules, nobody cares about ethic, winning no matter what, or even worse, humiliate your opponent. Even if the game was free of bugs, mentality of all the community is broken. Those are dark ages for me. Find me an enemy that I can respect and he gonna respect me, then I will fight in more civilized way.
I don't know if it is good place to start talking about it, but nobody seems to care about offtopics :P. I support making one supergrid free of any violent acts where newbie players can learn how to play.

I don't think anyone is crying out for 100% peace and the abolishment of raider villages. What people are saying is that the current exploitation of the game mechanics and the lack of any ability to claim retribution has made it pointless to try and play the game as a village of non raider/griefer hearthlings since the scale fully dips in being an asshole's favor. Currently, there are no consequences when villages like Ainran, Dis and AD run amok and due to the high penalty of permadeath, people who want to be casual gamers or build something more than a pvp toon (in a game where pvp is boring and broken despite the claims of the few) are left feeling Meh and leaving.

But, hey, if the community and jorb and loftar want a game where only people who want to be violent and exploit the system and ruin any other type of player's fun can prosper, then so be it. There are many other games where I can kill other players and not be annoyed at the mechanics. And that is where I will spend my time.

Discussed this idea with our ls. He suggested the central supergrid and discuss this further with other factions. Valten21 also has shown his interest in it. Probably, it's proper to do a skype conference with faction leaders and form this idea to something which might exist.

Cute idea but unaffiliated raiders would take that as a "happy hunting ground".
