Does it? It has been publicly discussed both in this thread and probably elsewhere. I don't exactly think he needs inside information to state that.

For one part, just reading about such a story indirectly on the forum is quite different from catching someone in the act. There's a lot of structure to be delved through, and I don't even know if the reporter was even involved, or in what way, which other personae were involved, which of his characters on which of his accounts would have been in the abusing village (and which others would perhaps be living completely separate), &c&c. Surely, you can see the difference?

I honestly cannot. If someone admits anything publically then that is usually proof enough so that he is found guilty.

You mean like when Delamore "admitted" to bagousing his way to millions of LP in world 1, or, more recently, when people were "admitting" left and right that they were exploiting the mushroom poisoning in Salem to gobble their way to thousands in humours? :)

Even if I take the admission to be truthful in itself, however, there's still a whole slew of structure to be dug through. I don't even know if the account on which the admission was made would have any connection to the events that happened ingame, or even if it does, then when and where such things happened (or just how well the description of the admission corresponds to what actually transpired, for that matter), or how things have been permuted afterwards. Maybe he even oathed his way into an enemy village in expectation of divine retribution? I think it's not too difficult to see the difference between this and someone being caught red-handed, where the actual perpetrator, time, place and instrument are all clear as day to see.

Edit: Btw during the entire thread you argue that AD members had this coming simply by being in the same town as the person that tried to DoS the server, but here you act like Dis members are all acting completely independent of eachother, when in reality they are they way tighter community with the same few core members being involved all just the same in any kind of suspicious action.

That's not really the case, though. Rather, I haven't even been able to strictly make any connection between any actual occurrence and anyone in Dis.

It has been dominated by the same handful of people because they know things that nobody else does. Things that are not meant to be part of this game. Edit 2: Btw your argument about catching that guy in AD redhanded is flawed too. he could have done the very same you describe a sentence above. He might have been some Dis spy, got his way into AD, got an oath by acting like some helpless newbie that wanted to get into a town. Then Bam abuse some exploit that Loftar has to see and get the citiy of his enemies punished. Now that I wrote it down it actually sounds like something Dis would do to me.

i honestly don't know where you are getting that from...

however i do take issue with you and avu constantly calling for everyone else's work to be destroyed, while making out that you are both so wonderful. you can certainly have a civil discussion with me, but neither of you actually want to do that... you're just raging constantly because the bug-abusers defeated you, and you can't see that most haven players aren't actually like that. i spend nearly all of my playing time roaming on my single character, and i almost never encounter bad people*. most are really nice, and you deny their existence just because you think they are beneath you and thus not worthy of your mighty attention.

I was making an argument to an important matter. I am refering to two big groups of players here. I never denied there is good people out there. As a matter of fact I received 5 pms now since I started posting here from people encouraging me to keep going since I am one of the few left calling people out on the bullshit that has been corrupting this game for far too long. I am very happy about those pms, because lately I have been getting negative feedback on basically any of my comments and although I know that negativity comes either from people that are guilty of my accusations or plain trolls it made me leave the forums alltogether. The general atmosphere here has just become unbearable even though there are of course nice people left. But mostly it is either Dis or AD bagousers fighting over who has the bigger imaginary dick or it is completely retarded kids posting in their atrocious internet shorthand which I believe was a bannable offense once...but now even the mods have yolo swag signatures, so...

Stop requesting character wipes or map resets. They will only ever be introduced alongside major developments and there are no signs of those developments happening anytime soon. You have no say in the matter.

I don't know why you think you're so special that you're the only one calling people out on this stuff. If you actually read the thread a lot of people have said their opinion on both keyloggers and bruteforcing passwords. Good for you for getting PMs - I'm perfectly happy for you to call out people for bug abuse, and I feel the same way, but when you're requesting resets and ignoring the majority of the game population because you're such an elitist, it pisses me off.

actually, they were there probably 1 whole minute after nuke. Wasn't outside, so I cannot say if they were there waiting, but that is something to think about.
