That is not at all the implication, even though I think he just added the "as fast as you can" as some extra words for flavor. Anyway, it's not technically incorrect, as you can cover more ground by going over the right tiles (especially in corners).

Technically there are different boat speeds judging by how many times u click. I can tell you'd be one of the ones i'd aggro and you'd move almost no where.
